This entry identifies the under-eye topic; the proposed fat and skin work still needs confirmation.
Ask each clinic: How would my plan separate fat management from loose-skin assessment?
Clinics are listed alphabetically. Sources checked 1 November 2026. Missing information should be confirmed with the clinic.
Which under-eye concern are you trying to assess?
Under-eye photographs can show bags, hollows, skin folds or shadows, sometimes together. Describe what bothers you and when it is most visible rather than selecting a procedure from a search result. A photo taken in overhead light can create a different impression from one taken beside a window, so explain the conditions as well.
BECOME has a dedicated under-eye page; BANOBAGI lists transconjunctival fat repositioning; BRAUN includes fat repositioning in its anti-aging eye menu; ID links under-eye fat repositioning from its eye center. These descriptions identify relevant topics, but not a shared method or outcome.
What can you learn from a procedure name?
Keep access route, fat management and skin treatment separate
The NHS guide describes lower-eyelid access either below the lashes or inside the eyelid and notes that fat can be repositioned or removed, sometimes with skin treatment. This is general terminology to help understand a consultation. It does not say that each clinic uses the same approach or that every patient needs the same combination.
Ask what is proposed for each component in your case. If a clinic uses a branded description of reinforcement or fixation, ask for an explanation of the actual task and its limits. Do not translate a marketing statement about lasting results into a verified recurrence rate.
How can you compare the written plans?
Make a small plan summary after each consultation. Leave fields blank when they were not discussed, then send the same follow-up question. A blank is a request for information, not a negative rating. This prevents the most detailed brochure from becoming the presumed best operation.
- Concern assessed: bags, hollowing, loose skin or another finding.
- Planned approach: incision/access route and what happens to the fat.
- Additional treatment: any skin or support procedure, with its separate purpose.
- Care plan: review appointments, symptoms to report and the route to urgent assessment.
How should risk and recovery affect the decision?
ASPS includes dryness, lid-position changes, closure difficulty and vision changes among eyelid-surgery risks. Ask which risks are relevant to the proposed lower-eyelid plan and how they would be assessed or managed. A statement that stitches do not need removal is not the same as saying that follow-up is unnecessary.
Before committing to travel, obtain the clinic's review schedule and ask the clinician what would change your departure plan. Do not compare providers by the shortest advertised recovery line. Compare whether each plan accounts for the assessed concern, proposed work and care needed afterward.
Frequently asked questions
Is eye-bag removal always fat removal?
No. The phrase can cover different plans. Ask whether fat is repositioned, removed or left unchanged, and whether skin is treated.
Does an internal incision mean I will not need follow-up?
No. The incision description does not replace the clinician's review schedule.
Can I use a recurrence claim to rank the clinics?
Only a comparable, well-defined outcome dataset could support that analysis. No such dataset was established for this comparison.
Sources and comparison method
Clinic information is attributed to each provider. NHS and ASPS sources explain general care and risks. They do not describe Korean legal requirements or clinic-specific outcomes.
