Ask each clinic: Which crease method would you assess for me, and why?
Clinics are listed alphabetically. Sources checked 1 November 2026. Missing information should be confirmed with the clinic.
Which parts of a double-eyelid plan are actually comparable?
A search for double-eyelid surgery can produce pages about a crease design, a fixation technique or a wider eye-surgery package. These are different things. A page showing an attractive crease does not tell you whether the proposed operation includes a skin incision, tissue removal or another procedure. Before comparing prices, get those items into the same vocabulary.
The four clinics below were selected because their official pages describe double-eyelid or related eye procedures. BECOME and BRAUN describe incisional and non-incisional choices; JK describes several approaches; BANOBAGI lists double-eyelid surgery within a broader eye menu. Compare how much detail each menu provides, then request an individual plan.
What can the website explain before an examination?
Separate a method menu from a recommendation
A method list helps you prepare questions, but the list does not select a procedure. Ask which visible concern the surgeon is assessing, what information is missing from your photographs and whether a final recommendation requires an in-person examination. A coordinator can explain booking steps without being the person who makes the medical decision.
The NHS eyelid-surgery guide describes different upper- and lower-eyelid approaches, anesthesia possibilities and risks. It is general patient information, not evidence that a particular Korean clinic follows the same protocol. Use it to notice which parts of an explanation are missing rather than to self-select a technique.
How should you organize the consultation replies?
Create one row per proposed procedure, not one row per clinic slogan. If a response includes double-eyelid surgery and ptosis correction, ask for the purpose of each component and whether either is optional. A single package price can hide a different scope of treatment. Keep your stated preference consistent across all consultations so the replies concern the same goal.
- Write your preferred crease appearance in ordinary language and attach examples only as discussion aids.
- Ask for the full procedure names and whether the plan changes after examination.
- Record the treating surgeon, anesthesia plan, review visits and price-validity period.
- Save unanswered questions separately instead of treating a fast reply as a complete assessment.
What should decide the next step?
Choose a consultation that explains why a proposed approach fits the assessment and what it cannot change. It is reasonable to pause if you receive a complete-looking price before anyone has asked about previous surgery, medicines or eye symptoms. Send the missing information through a confirmed clinic channel and ask who will review it.
ASPS lists dry eyes, difficulty closing the eyes, scarring and possible revision among eyelid-surgery risks. Discuss the risks relevant to your situation with the treating surgeon. Neither the presence of a particular method on a website nor a lower quoted amount resolves that discussion.
Frequently asked questions
Does non-incisional automatically mean the better option?
No. A listed method is an option to discuss after assessment. Ask why it is proposed for your eyelids and what its limitations are.
Can I compare the four clinics by their headline price?
Only after the procedure and inclusions match. This comparison did not establish a current, like-for-like surgical tariff for all four clinics.
Are these patient reviews?
No. The entries summarize official clinic information and are not patient accounts.
Sources and comparison method
Clinic information is attributed to each provider. NHS and ASPS sources explain general care and risks. They do not describe Korean legal requirements or clinic-specific outcomes.
