This menu helps separate crease work from eyelid-opening work.
Ask each clinic: Which part of my plan concerns crease design and which concerns eyelid opening?
Clinics are listed alphabetically. Sources checked 1 November 2026. Missing information should be confirmed with the clinic.
Why can similarly named packages cover different work?
Clinic menus often place ptosis correction beside double-eyelid surgery. That arrangement helps visitors find related information, but it does not mean the two labels describe one operation. A quote may cover crease creation alone, or list an additional procedure. You need to know which task the clinician is proposing and the reason for it.
BECOME has a separate ptosis page. BANOBAGI lists ptosis correction among its eye procedures. BRAUN discusses related procedures that may be combined, while JK includes ptosis correction among its options. These pages describe available consultation topics; they do not indicate a shared diagnosis or uniform package.
What should the examination discussion cover?
Ask about function before using an appearance label
If your concern is a sleepy-looking eye, describe the appearance and any symptoms instead of diagnosing muscle weakness yourself. Ask the surgeon what they need to examine to distinguish an eyelid-opening issue from a crease or skin concern. Your medical history and any previous eye procedures belong in that discussion.
NHS guidance explains that medical conditions can affect the eyelids or make cosmetic surgery inappropriate. It also describes the need to discuss medicines with the surgeon. This is why the assessment should remain separate from choosing a menu technique.
How do you request an itemized plan?
Ask the clinic to write the procedure names on separate lines and explain how the combined plan differs from either procedure alone. A single total can still be supplied, but the scope should be readable. Request clarification if the English and Korean names appear to describe different things.
- What finding led you to propose ptosis correction?
- Is crease creation a separate part of this plan?
- What would the likely limitations be if only one component were performed?
- Which clinician will confirm the final plan after examination?
- What anesthesia, follow-up and price changes apply if the plan changes?
What should you avoid inferring from an add-on price?
An inexpensive add-on is still a medical intervention. Its price does not explain whether it is indicated, and a higher package total does not prove greater precision. Compare the assessment and the tasks being quoted before comparing the totals. Keep a copy of the agreed plan so later communication refers to the same scope.
ASPS includes eye-closure problems, dryness and possible revision in eyelid-surgery risks. Ask how the proposed combination affects the discussion of risks and postoperative review in your case. The clinic should explain that to you in a language you understand before consent.
Frequently asked questions
Does every double-eyelid patient need ptosis correction?
No conclusion like that follows from a clinic menu. The need for a separate procedure requires an individual assessment.
Can I ask for the crease procedure without the add-on?
You can ask the clinician to explain that option, its limitations and whether it is appropriate. Do not change an agreed medical plan without that discussion.
Is a combined package easier to compare?
Only if each component is defined. Matching package names can conceal different procedure scopes.
Sources and comparison method
Clinic information is attributed to each provider. NHS and ASPS sources explain general care and risks. They do not describe Korean legal requirements or clinic-specific outcomes.
