This description helps identify whether the quoted components overlap.

Ask each clinic: Which access route, fat and skin components does this quote include?

Clinics are listed alphabetically. Sources checked 1 November 2026. Missing information should be confirmed with the clinic.

Why might the procedure names differ?

One quote may be headed "lower blepharoplasty" while another uses "under-eye fat repositioning." The first label can describe an operation on the lower lid; the second describes what happens to fat. Without the details, you cannot tell whether the quotes concern the same work, a partly overlapping plan or different assessed problems.

BECOME's mature-eye page separates lower blepharoplasty and fat repositioning within its menu. BRAUN's anti-aging eye page also lists both. BANOBAGI's introduction lists transconjunctival fat repositioning, but that overview alone does not define every possible lower-lid component. Ask for clarification rather than expanding the category yourself.

Which details make the scope readable?

Use a component-by-component description

The NHS lower-eyelid description mentions the incision location, fat repositioning or removal, possible skin removal and support when necessary. Use this vocabulary to understand the quote; it does not mean every component is needed. A surgeon may recommend only part of that scope or a different assessment pathway.

Ask for a short written explanation of the finding and proposed response. If skin treatment appears in one plan but not another, ask what led to that difference. Do not use the number of components as a proxy for completeness; unnecessary components are not a benefit.

How should the prices be requested?

Send the same inclusion questions after the medical plan is defined. Ask whether the quote covers the treating clinician, facility, anesthesia, planned reviews and any stated supplies. Separate optional procedures from required items. If the price is provisional until examination, record that beside the amount rather than in a separate message you may forget.

  • Full procedure names in the treatment plan.
  • Which component is included in the quoted total.
  • What finding could change the proposed scope after examination.
  • What care is included and which later treatment would be separately billed.

The cited public pages provide procedure descriptions, not matched personal quotations or a current three-clinic price table.

What should remain in the consent discussion?

ASPS lists lower-lid position problems, scarring and eye-closure difficulty among eyelid-surgery risks. Ask how the clinician assesses those issues for the proposed plan. A price comparison without that discussion can make a smaller quote look equivalent to a broader operation when the clinical decisions differ.

Take the written plan away and check that its terms are consistent with the consultation you understood. If a coordinator later summarizes it differently, ask the surgeon to resolve the wording. Base the comparison on defined care instead of marketing names.

Frequently asked questions

Is fat repositioning always a separate add-on?

Not necessarily. It can be part of a lower-eyelid operation. Ask the clinic to define the scope and how it is priced.

Why is one quote higher?

The public pages cannot determine that. Compare the proposed work and inclusions, then ask the clinic to explain the difference.

Does a lower-lid procedure automatically treat dark circles?

Do not assume that from the name. Ask which part of your concern the proposed procedure is intended to change and what may remain.

Clinic information is attributed to each provider. NHS and ASPS sources explain general care and risks. They do not describe Korean legal requirements or clinic-specific outcomes.
