This entry identifies the label; the exact corner procedure still needs confirmation.
Ask each clinic: Which corner operation, if any, is being proposed and for what finding?
Clinics are listed alphabetically. Sources checked 1 November 2026. Missing information should be confirmed with the clinic.
What exactly is the clinic offering to change?
An "eye enlargement" label can conceal several separate procedures. BECOME's English page distinguishes medial, upper, lateral and lower corner procedures. Other clinics may use a broader canthoplasty label in a menu or describe it alongside crease surgery. Ask the clinic to point to the exact location it proposes to change rather than relying on the shared English word.
A useful comparison starts with your concern and the planned operation, not the number of items in a bundle. If one reply lists two corner procedures and another lists none, ask why the assessment differs. More items are not a measure of a better plan.
How should you read the published clinic differences?
Look for the scope behind each label
The table separates detailed corner-procedure descriptions from broader eye-menu listings. A broad menu still gives you a route to ask for information, but it supplies less detail about the individual proposal. Do not fill that gap by copying another clinic's explanation.
Ask for the exact procedure name in English and Korean, the intended direction of change, incision information and any effect on an existing scar or previous operation. If you have already had corner surgery, say so at the first inquiry rather than waiting until the appointment.
Which questions belong beside the package price?
The NHS eyelid-surgery guide discusses risks and the possibility that someone may want another operation after an unsatisfactory result. It is not a technical guide to every canthoplasty method. Use that general context to ask for procedure-specific risks from the surgeon.
- What finding supports this particular corner procedure?
- What is the expected limitation, including the possibility of little visible change?
- Which part of the total covers the corner procedure, and what does follow-up include?
- If the surgeon advises against it after examination, how will the booking and fee be adjusted?
What is a useful endpoint for the comparison?
You should be able to explain the proposed operation back to the clinic without saying only "bigger eyes." You should also know which clinician will confirm the plan and how uncertainty will be resolved. If the explanation changes between a sales conversation and the surgeon's consultation, request an updated written plan before deciding.
ASPS lists scarring, lid-position problems, closure difficulty and possible revision among eyelid-surgery risks. The appropriate risk discussion must be specific to the proposed corner operation. Use public terminology and add-on prices only to prepare a procedure-specific consultation.
Frequently asked questions
Are epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty the same thing?
The clinic pages use them for different corner locations. Ask the surgeon to identify the exact planned operation and location.
Should I choose the package with more eye procedures?
Procedure count is not a quality measure. Ask why each component is proposed and whether a smaller scope or no operation is appropriate.
Can these clinic pages tell me how much wider my eyes will look?
They cannot establish an individual outcome. Discuss realistic limits with the clinician after assessment.
Sources and comparison method
Clinic information is attributed to each provider. NHS and ASPS sources explain general care and risks. They do not describe Korean legal requirements or clinic-specific outcomes.
